Everything looks good all I would suggest is for each game to make separate the Praise, Complaints and Bugs sections, don't lump them all into one section.

I like the looks of it, but I still want to see the topic of the day at the top of the forums list.
The mods. As chuy (and I) said, they had this system before and it was just a pain in the ass to use. Shame.Scorpion0x17 wrote:

All fine, 'cept for one thing:
Set SOME kind of restriction/permissions system for the Debate forum. Please. I know this was in place before, and it would probably make it less retarded (in the average quality of posts) then it is now.
Firstly, who gets to decide who has the right to post in that section and who doesn't?
Secondly, the people who aren't allowed to post there will just use other parts of the forums for posts that should be going in that section.
BTW, giving polarbearz negative karma is a good idea, but you can't neg him any further. Can we?

On the main page put a prominent message warning people to search before they post.
Also a guide page on how to customise your profile mightn't be a bad idea. I had no idea about forum titles, etc. or BB code stuff before B. Schuss helped me out.

Dude, in your signature animated gif you spelled "don't" wrong, and you overused commas.Spark wrote:

However, may I recommend an "OMFG ITS THE WEEKEND AND MY STATS R DOWN!" subforum?
Yep, good idea. Less is more.
It looks good, I just dont see why 4 bf2 mods get a seperate area, insted of right underneath bf2.
Maybe more mods than PoE (look at sig, *hint*)
sounds good to me.
I like it, but as stated in above post(s) I would suggest a general section for other, smaller mods.
I like it, except I would suggest moving expansion packs under their respective titles, although perhaps not individually. What about an "Expansions" and a "Mods" section under BF2 and 2142, respectively? This might be a bit more logical and keep those respective forums more organized.chuyskywalker wrote:
I'm looking at reorganizing the forums in the near future, and I thought I should get some feed back from the people who use the thing before I went and threw it all up in the air. Here's what I'm thinking:(x) means no posts in this forum, (o) means general posts allowed, all final chain forums posting allowedCode:
Release Titles (x) - Battlefield 2 (o) - Techniques, Strategies, and Guides - General Feedback (Complain, Praise, Bugs) - Game News and Updates - Battlefield 2142 (o) - Techniques, Strategies, and Guides - General Feedback (Complain, Praise, Bugs) - Game News and Updates Expansions & Mods (x) - Armored Fury - Euro Force - Special Forces - POE2 Community (x) - Junk Drawer (previously "not bf2s") - Debate and Serious Talk - Tech - Clans (x) - Looking For Members - Looking For Clan BF2S Section remains mostly the same, Probably move "Featured Posts" under it.
Omissions? Exclusions? Inclusions? Let me know.

...and maybe a "Place Spam Here' thread
Change comes from within.
Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it
In the "General Feedback" sections, between (...) add also "Technical issues" and it is perfect!!!
I think you need an entire section titled BF PMS. So that all the whiners and complainers have a place to post, and those of us who don't care won't have to read anything in there.
another subforum could be..
ITS THE WEEKEND AND THE KIDS RUINED THE GAME
ITS THE WEEKEND AND THE KIDS RUINED THE GAME
I like.
I would suggest splitting up official expansions and unofficial mods, so my suggested layout is going to look a lot like what Mad Ad posted earlier. A technical issues section has already been mentioned too and I think it would be a good idea considering BF2's history, although you may only need one forum area for it. Have a guide thread for each game/mod/expansion as appropriate and leave a bit open for discussion of new issues. A list of known bugs might be good too.
As far as organizing the expansions/mods goes, you might be able to put them as a sub-forum for the release title they relate to, like
Hope you find this useful
Code:
Release Titles (x) - Battlefield 2 (o) - Techniques, Strategies, and Guides - General Feedback (Complain, Praise, Bugs) - Game News and Updates - Battlefield 2142 (o) - Techniques, Strategies, and Guides - General Feedback (Complain, Praise, Bugs) - Game News and Updates Official Expansions (x) - Armored Fury - Euro Force - Special Forces - *add new as appropriate Unofficial Mods (x) - POE2 - *add new ones as they become popular and merit the space - Other Mods Community Technical Support (x) - Technical Guides (x) *compile all the useful guides for technical issues into one thread for each release/mod - Technical discussion (o) *for discussion of stuff not mentioned in the guides Community (x) - Junk Drawer (previously "not bf2s") - Debate and Serious Talk - Tech - Clans (x) - Looking For Members - Looking For Clan BF2S Section remains mostly the same, Probably move "Featured Posts" under it.

Shouldn't it be "Feedback" instead of feeback?
feeback sounds more sexi
sounds great man can you put a section in the stats for commanders that would be cool like kills resupply points keep up the great work
It all looks good to me. Run with it.
