Ok so this isnt the first time this has happened nor will it be the last. But whenever im playing multiplayer my game just locks up along with my computer. I tried the PB thing where i update manually. But that didnt help. I updated my drivers. didnt help. IVe done all this before i did a system restore from you guessed it past BF2 problems. Ive done everything, Reinstall, reinstall patchs, kick the computer, yelled at it, and got very very anger and threw my keyboard. this doesnt seem to help and im about to lose my mind and take a trip the EA HQ

maybe, you have to put your "settings' a bit lower.
i had it too, i got a very crappy fx 5600. and i think that's the frigging prob
so everything at my video settings is.. low of off
and now it runs smoothly

Delete or rename the "Battlefield 2 " folder in your "My Documents" folder and give it a try. I was having a similar problem. Deleting my profile did the trick.
