I've heard that there is indeed a way to do this, but I have no idea how. I've searched, and pulled up numerous threads, none of it relative. If you could tell me how to or link me to a thread about it, I'd be grateful.
Wtf? I don't Understand..

Well, I tried something like that, I found patch 1.03 back, (full patch) And installed it, but the strange thing was, I still couldn't jump and shoot at the same time, but the Names of the Vehicle Drop and things that came after 1.03 had some kind of coding infront of it, if that is what you meant. But why would you want to run 1.4 and 1.12 at the same time? Since you couldn't play anywhere since the servers where you want to play only run 1.4 or 1.12?PspRpg-7 wrote:

i think he means like if he can make another directory of his bf2 and be able to play patch 1.4 and 1.12. im sure how to exactly do it right
Its like you install the game twice, in two different locations.
One is patched to 1.4, the other to what ever patch version you so desire.
At least that is my understanding of how it works.

That'd be one hell of a space waster but if nothing else, I'd like to know how to do this.BigmacK wrote:

Tried it, doesn't work.Superior Mind wrote:

You just make a back-up (in a different directory of course) before u patch.
Then u patch, if u like to play the old version after patching, just start bf2 from the back up directory...

If U Want To Have Two Patches:
Say U Have 1.4 (latest). Go To Default C:/program Files/ea Games/bf2 And Copy The Bf2 Folder. Send It Somewhere Else, Such As The Desktop. Then, Download The Patch U Want (1.03 For Example) And Install As Normal To The Default Directory. Now, The One That Is In C:/program Files/ea Games/bf2 Is The 1.03 And The One On Your Desktop Is 1.4. Just Dont Get Them Mixed Up

You can't do it without uninstalling, but you can do it.
