Theres nothing wrong with people being good but when you get a third party program to make you good its almost equivalent to hacks.
I really couldn't care less tho, I don't use macros and have never come across someone who is obviously better due to the use if macros (or anything for that matter).
There would be a lot of pissed off G15 users including me. I don't use macros for dolphin diving, prone spamming or what ever - my fingers are fast enough to do that, but i use the G-keys to assign several stuff like the squad menu etc.

You see, autohotkey does not nessesarely make macro's either... It just allows rebinding of keys and more... Without a user programming it, it does nothing...
In the case of joy2key, it's a 3rd party software product which creates new features in the game...
Against the ROE in more ways than a macro even in my opinion...
The reasoning about this also, that anyone who buys battlefield should be able to play it on a level ground, without having to go through hours of forums and helpfiles to install and implement a 3rd party program which others use to create their advantage... couse that's all the joy2key users do, they create an advantage for themselves over others, by implementing features into the game which are not there in vanilla...
If a feature is not there, and you use a 3rd party program to create these features, then my conclusion can only be one...

I couldn't care about any of them getting banned, you don't need a macro to do anything in the game, you just need to be fast. Although I do feel slightly sorry for the older people or people with problems (like arthritis) that need macros in order to play.

Now i do have a G15 i do not mind the G-15 profiler software been banned, however since it auto loads with the PC as its needed to load up the macros and LCD apps. I just hope they give a decent error message so G15 users know what to do to disable the software and enter the server.
But of course there is another side to things, Will PB ban a function on a keyboard sold for gaming purposes, the G15 isn't the only macro keyboard but it is by far the most popular.
In addtion peopel will say SF came with a $15 G15 rebate, meaning EA supports it. I would say that is not true, and probably at the time SF was released the ROE was endorsed by BF2RS not EA.

Also, I don't use macros. I use some of the macro buttons for functions like remove inside view in a chopper, or go to third person view. I don't use macros, but EA shouldn't be limiting the use of them.
i got an script somewhere that spams clicks when you hold the left-mous button... i got it from and friend of mine and i tried it a few times with the tv-missiles. But cant hit shit with the script on and with the script off everybody on the other team is dead meat .
