For some days ago I read that 9 out of 10 computers have been infected with spyware or virusses.
Lets see if its true on this forum.
Ofcourse you could be infected without knowing it.
Which type have you meet.

ages ago when i was running on a pentium 2 i used to look at loads of porn without any anti virus stuff and when i took it to the computer guy he said it had 42 viruses on it

Well once i had about 60 files of spyware, because I downloaded a game.
Well at this point it looks very true.

Yesterday actually... I did a sys restore on my laptop, updated my antivirus and all of a sudden AVG HAS DETECTED A VIRUS, strange thing is i didnt have this virus before the system restore...

My mom's computer... it's obvious that something got on there... the firewall is down and will not come back up, and our anti-virus stuff isn't working. Fortunately, she has my computer <mutters about when she taught me about this crazy thing named sharing>

If I have ever been infected by spyware? No.
But my pc has, on numerous occasions, which were all easily resolved, except for one. I really tried everything with that tricky little bastard but it only partly solved the problem. Eventually I got so pissed I decided to just format the hard drive and install everything all over again. A little apocalypse followed by a little genesis, if you will.

yeah i had the same thing. lol porn was so hard to get back then. and everywhere you got it was sus.
