The P90 is accurate, on single-shot prone or crouch. It's only inaccurate when you are strafing or pray/spray. On BF2142, all guns seem a bit more accurate than their BF2 counterparts. They just take a lot more bullets to kill folks, what with everyone by default running around with Heavy Armor (which will be nerfed I've read).-MP-Nuke1266 wrote:

I specialized on the 2142 Engineer and in the end, got around a 7 K/D with the SMG. Awesome weapon close range, even when moving. Much more practical than a shotty equivalent, especially after jumping out of a burning tank. Single shot scoped is great at range, as long as they don't see you.. To me, it felt like a P90.

10-15 Assaults
1-5 Supports
2 or 3 engineers

Well, thats seems about right. They wouldnt call it assault if it wasnt the main fighting unit, everyone else fights AND assists, either the squads or team in general. BTW I know that tank have a zoom capability, does this mean that tank-spawn-camping will be 2-3x the range?
The tanks have a rather large distance drop, about 1 meter every 100 or so meters, so spawnrape requires some calculation before.
So is the SCAR-11 more accurate than the Krylov? The way you compared them it seemed that they are.
they have about all the same deviations and everything, but the Krylov, to me, feels like the far superior weapon

I always thought the Krylov was the "Moderate power, better accuracy"
and the SCAR was "High Power, lower accuracy"

But with the tanks zoom, The Tiger tank is an effective distant artillery now. Just make sure to go Support in this case, as you don't have as many main gun rounds as in BF2. The hovertank, assuming you are a good driver, is best for close in combat. Longer range shots are harder when you are constantly drifting.
What about the commander assets? Are they still the same or are there more of them?

3. Orbital Strike (EMP from the sky)

What is the blast radius compared to BF2 arty? And what exactly does EMP temporarily disable? I know about mobility but what about weapons, HUD, zoom....

the Orbs have mabye... 50 meter radius from the center, and it disables all, ALL movement of vehicles, along with messing up soldier HUD. the EMP nades do 1/10th of this, and the mines only effect Vehicles, but they completely disable them
I don't know, once you get the shell drop down over long distances, you can just sit up on some hillside 100 meters away and continously fire onto a base, with little resistance. I think spawncamping with vehicles is just as effective, but it takes more skill now.Ilocano wrote:

So based on what Ive read: BF2142 is a pretty balanced game?
