Who really cares about Fatality or how ever the hell spells it, hes good but not that good, he was on a TV show playing in a tournament and he had his ass handed to him by some little Asian kid like 8 times.  He didn't even make it to the semi-finals.  Besides what kind of life accomplishment is being famous for playing video games???

Check the post about 2 before yours and that will explain it. A kid with some level of skillz (according to him) who can play video games. He got sponsored and now has a line of products for gamers. Overpriced though they may be. As for Robin he probably pays someone to get the machine ready for him to play. just like Bill Gates does. Seriously do you think Bill has ever actually built a machine or installed an OS. If he did would windoze suck as bad as it does?

I got to play 1v1 against him earlier this year in UnrealTournament.   At the JavaOne conference they had an after hours setup where you could challenge him.   I don't consider myself a great FPS player, but I'm ok.   I lost 23 to -3 in a 3min game..   He would get people on stage and ask them how they thought they would do.   My response was "I want to keep you under 25 kills, and not have 5 suicides."   So in a sense, I surpased my goals.   He played probably 30-40 people and only died once (From falling off an edge).   I think they "lowest" kill total for him was 15.

Nice kid, not arrogant.  Seemed really likeable.   His refexes are amazing.  I sat and watched him for quite a while.   He wasn't "jerky" with the mouse, very smooth, like he knew exactly where you were going to be.

I was sitting in my room one day. minding my own business and playing FFXI... my moms like "come here quick" so I got to her room and shes watching TRL and this fatality fool is on. I'd seen the who "True Life: I'm a gamer" crap and saw him on it and from then Ive felt he is crap... and as I watched him on TRL he said shit about how he was "Number one" and "the best" at several games.. I believe the games where painkiller and quake 3 or something... and its just ridiculous how he's managed to make money from playing a game like Painkiller and after winning a few of what he called "world championships" and saying he's the best at those specific games ...

^^^^^^ people who don't read previous posts. If fatality is crap, that makes you even LESS than crap dumbass. He's one of the best there is in the reflex-based FPS world, Q3A, Q4, Doom3, PK.

And yes, he's the world champion x 5 at these specific games while you come on the forums and cry about it. Met up with him at CPL 05, nice, decent, unassuming guy, perhaps a little aloof, but not arrogant in anyway whatsoever.

Yeah, I don't see how people are like "this guy sucks" or "he's an idiot" and things like that.

First of all, I'm sure the tournaments he played(and plays in) were filled with people who thought THEY were good gamers and that he wasn't all that- and they got pwned over and over by him nonetheless.  The fact is, he wins and just puts the smack down on whoever he plays.  I'm sure he's lost a match or two, so what- he's currently the best out there and does anyone around here seriously think they are in the same league as him in those types of games?!?!

I think it's cool that he is able to make money from playing video games.

that guy is awesome. he earned like 125,000 (or was is 120,000?) dollars at CPL finals 05, and over 600,000 in his carrier.
ppl say he plays way too much. but, he earns good money doing so. normal ppl work like 8 hours a day, he trains 8 hours a day. and I didnt say play 8 hours, because playing 1on1 FPS has become a job for him.

so, actually this guy has a job which probably makes fun. isnt that what we all dream about?

i know what you meant, and i reckon i could take this fatality guy at bf2 (as i've only really played bf2 and mohaa for pc fps').
