BF2S Forums No more BF2?....

I'm suprised no one mentioned this, but why don't you play POE2 when he's around? No Americans there, just Ukraine and Germany.

Or just play Surge or Mass Destruction.

wow man, I feel for you...my parents used to be like that.  Then i bought my dad Unreal Tournament.  Since then, whenever I get a new game, I get it for him, too, and we play together.  Father-son bonding.  My Dad plays Bf2 with me and my brother, and he loves it because he lives in NJ, my bro goes to college in DC, and I'm married.

maybe if you ask him if he would like to play it with you?

man that's tough.  He's right, on principles.  But his method of execution of a new policy is not constructive, but destructive.

Let me get this straight.  You've played 580 hours and your father just now sees what you've been playing while locked up in your room?

I'm sorry, but that'll never happen in my house.  My kids only 11 and I know EVERYTHING he does.  I'm sure it'll get harder as he gets older, but parents need to be parents.  As long as my kid lives in my house, I'll know everything that goes on. 

The Colombine kids are a great example.  Don't get me wrong, I am in no way comparing YOU with those kids.  I'm just trying to think how parents can go on with THEIR everyday life knowing nothing while their kid is building bombs and creating hate websites on their computer in the parents house.

Like I said, I'm sure your a great person and intend to play BF2 like most of us here.  He's just trying to be a dad as best he can.  It doesn't hurt to sit down and talk with him about it.  I'm thinking as long as you don't show signs of acting out scenarios of the game in real life, what's to worry?

Hey, your dad pays all the bills right (he probably paid for the fucking video game), he can tell you what you can and cannot do under his roof!!

Once you live on your own (i.e. your own apt) you can play whatever the fuck you want!!

I do agree that he is a tad hyper considering it is ONLY a video game! However, it is his house. . . .

if ur dad ever watches war movies or tv show.....pretty much any show or movie wit killin tell him theres no diff between the movies and the games ur not playin because of the nationalities ur playin because its fun

Get him to try uit. He'll get hooked and then you'll post; " Can somebody convince my family we need a second computer?"

HA HA HA - this is funny shit. Actually just offer him a go, explain there are thousands of DADs just like him playing BF2 online. He might just get hooked - and you'll never play again. LOL

Tell him that this game is already fucking USMC centrical....nearly all maps got USMC as 2nd army.
