ive spent about 3,000 dollars and nearly 500 hours of my life on battlefield 2. over the last year ive spent 800 bucks at a cyber cafe, i bought a 2000 dollar alienware laptop, 3 copies of the game (plus SF, and AF), and various other stuff like gaming mouses and speakers and what not. my dad smashed my laptop into a million pieces so now im trying to save up enough for a new one before 2142 comes out. so after hearing all that, how much time and money have you put into battlefield?

Close to 2000 hours of my life. But spent? I would say earned, rather. Yup, I HAVE made monies out of BF2.

Smashed your laptop? Psycho much?
Anyway, I've spent 70. 50 for BF2 and 20 on SF. Or maybe 30, I don't remember.

130 USD and approximately 600 hours of my life. In return, about 400 out of those 600 have been fun, I have gained 16000 electronic points recorded somewhere at EA and 65 friends who I will never meet in real life.
i know, tell me about it...Masterstyle wrote:

BF2.......$50.00
SF..........$25.00
EF and AF..........$20.00
Emptying an entire clip from a pistol into an unsuspecting enemy soldier, only to have them turn around and shoot you in the face with one shot.....priceless.

I spent about 10cents an hour according to my stats. I imagine you could find hidden costs in anything if you looked hard enough, but the truth of the matter is that you have to pay money for entertainment. Bf2 doesn't rank that high on the amount you spend when you consider you could be doing lines of coke off a hookers ass. Talk about expensive entertainment...
uhhh.....wow?P581 wrote:
