you can use mines on a school night when the Tykes are snug and tucked into bed. Other than that.

- Are you afraid to lay down Mines or Claymores?
Pressing the "alt" key disables the red skull+crossbones and a whole loada other stuff. If you alt+tab out of the game a lot like me and forget to turn them back on they are as hard to spot as enemy ones. I think this is a useless feature that should be removed, its not even listed under controls so you can change it...
no. What i dont under stand is why snipers lay down claymore around a flag and let the ammo guys give em ammo so the sniper can protect the flag. It helps the support and the sniper.
I had an idea a long time ago for solving this Problem./..or Helping it at least.
Where you Color Code the Explosives, The SkullandCrossbones.
If its a Claymore - Yellow
If Its A C4 - Red
If Its A AT-Mine - Orange
that way you know whats laying in the Grass ...right?
Makes scence to me.

Should I lead by example? when out of 151 TKs I say sorry for all and get punished for all but three? You tell me -- Am I contributing to stupidity if you run over my claymore/mine and you are too blind to see the Jolly Roger and punish me? Maybe I am contributing -- I need to forgive all -- but clearly your own squad punishing you when he walks in front of a PKM or runs over a mine. Come on. If you want to say that then you like the punish system FOR stupidity. All I am saying is that people punish for everything no matter what. Need to take that punish system out because I've never seen anyone get kicked. Anyway, have fun and who cares.Michael82 wrote:
Isn't that just contributing to the stupidity?imdead wrote:
Yeah, as you know I've stated this before in a post for the Engineer. It sucks... I have my own Squad punishing me. Well if you can't beat 'em; join 'em, whenever I get TK'd... I won't even think or care punish the way I go.
I mean, i get TK'ed and Team damaged (brilliant AA gunner fireing when i'm in a helo fight with another helo :S)
I mean, you've got a decent rank... shouldn't you lead by example?
I think smart when laying mines. As a engineer for about 105 hours so far, I put them in places where people will nail them when capping flags but where teammates wont likely hit them. Since the patch now allows them to be blown up, I have started laying 1-2 mines MAX in a location to cut down on tk's and so they catch more people off guard
As for claymores, you got to be smart, but being that you dont see them until its too late, I refrain from claymoreing unless I need some protecting to my 6 oclock.

No matter how stupid the rest of us think that was, and that I said I was sry for flaming you, I resent that remark and will now sue you, and get you to tk me so I can punish you lol!!!!1!11!oneoneMichael82 wrote:

I know what you mean.
You have to wonder how many of these little geniuses go under their kitchen sink at home and drink everything with a skull and cross bones on it, believing it to be an afterschool snack of some sort.
well i know what you mean, i thought i was being smart by placing claymore behind places (like west flag on karkand, behind sandbags), lure enemies towards me and watch em go boom boom boom in my room. but nooooooo... somone have to go towards it and think "gee... what's that red skull... it's sooo beauti BOOM!" and before i could say OMFG! i'm punished and my trap is sprung and i'm wasted by a jackhammer...
sigh...
At least when i (by mistake) hit a mine (i love speed and i can't break on a nickle when going around a corner) i ALWAYS forgive (why would i punish that :S, when i'm a moron driving over the mine)
Imho, it's an american philosifi to punish someone for laying mines...
A: lays a mine
B: slams over it
B: punished
Let's take a RL situation
A: buys coffee at McD
McD: sells A coffee
A: looses hot coffee in car (while standing stil)
A: sues McD for making to warm coffee
Only in America
I use claymores expertly.
Alpha as fuck.
I only Lay Claymores on a Fleeing Basis...Bunny Hop and Toss haha...
