Well indeed the Jackhammer is a good and powerfull weapon in some people hand...but most people i see with them i end up with their name on top of my screen lokking like that

It is great at close quarters ... I have/had a video of me against 2-3 guys at the Karkand Suburb ... they kept spawning and I kept taking them out. When I finally was killed, I never saw so much teabagging. lol
But, frankly, I prefer the MP-7 now that I've unlocked it. When going engy/armor I tend to need a longer range weapon rather than a short range weapon.

Jackhammer should be good but the way it reloads is a bit of pain because you only have few clips compared to Dao 10.

Lol, your best Round is only 116 with the Jackhammer. In my opinion Jalalabad is more likely a snipermap. I got the best scores as a sniper on Jalalabad. But the best class is MEDIC. I even beat the commander of our team when I play as a medic. There are so many to revive. I made 175 within 4 hours and also some kills :-)Des.Kmal wrote:

But I also love the Jackhammer. But i use to use it on maps like "The Iron Gator". Because sometimes I kill more than one enemy with a single shot :-)
My only grip with it is that it only has 7 shots per clip. I think it should be up to 10 like IRL.

As for the Jackhammer, I don't like it. It doesn't have the power of the pump action shotties, so you can't get one-shot kills. That means you have to rapid or auto fire, and the recoil on it is just crazy. Both Recoil and Base deviation added per shot are higher on the Jackhammer than on any other shotgun (and I believe any other weapon either). After that first shot, you're lucky to hit anything, really.
Pump shotgun is my first preference, just point and click for one-hit kills. Otherwise I like the MP7, if I'm gonna have to spray with my weapon, I want it to be as well-built for spraying as possible, thanks.
I wouldn't really count the DAO-12 in this discussion, since it's not an Engineer weapon, but it's clearly better than the non-pump shotguns.

I prefer the pump shotties and the MP7. I used to like the MK3A1, but the long reload and the very small clip size just annoys me. Its ok for 1v1, but if theres more than 1 enemy...you are fucked.

I think the MK3A1 sucks for its recoil...its horrible, u shooted one time and your aim is in the sky...
DAO-12 own all. You get a giant sniper rocket with the kit too.
All the guns are great guns if one uses them enough. The jackhammer is indeed awesome, I use it a lot since I am an engi whore. Always a win in the back alleys of karkand.
its good if you dont panic with it, you panic and start clicking then you may as well be trying to shoot down the birds in sky. So take controlled but fast shots and it pwns
The spread on the jackhammer seems to be more than the other shotguns. It looks really cool when you run with it though. That thing should rip your leg off in one shot. Pancor FTW!
Because it's a bloody shotgun, and you're an engineer while using it.
