Also in Danish.
But not in Dutch, it's benzine.
Official prices here:

super 98+ = 1.318 €/l
super 95 = 1.297 €/l
diesel = 1.019 €/l
LPG = 0,495 €/l

I'm not gonna make the conversion to $ per gallon, there's already some posts here with those conversions and these prices aren't too different from them.

Doesn't really make sense for diesel to have a higher price than benzine/petrol/gasoline, and I doubt the government would get away with it if they were to make it so, since diesels are quite popular here.

EDIT: Meant to edit, not quote. Cr*p.

First time ever that diesel exceeds benzin in price here, now benzin is 118.40 IKR per liter ($6.31 per gallon) and  diesel is 118.70 IKR ($6.33 per gallon)

Anywhere else in the world where diesel exceeds benzin?
holy shit $6.31 a gallon? Why do they have to pay to keep it from freezing or something?

Gas 2.36gl  Diesel 2.69gl  It just isn't right.  I still get a crapload more mileage with my diesel truck, but cost of production is less for diesel, yet it's still more expensive.  Gotta love government.

hi all.
Interesting, some people pay so much less than us, i think, as its a bit hard to convert everything.
Can we all get working in the same units, and but this into prospective.

I suggest we translate the cost into $per litre for Petrol/gas/benz/diesel  and give some kind of benchmark for cost of living.
E.g.  minimum wage, and cost of a can of coke.   in $.

It can vary in england but this is about right now.  (at $1.7 to the £)
Correct any of this if i am wrong
And yes i am a geek

Petrol               $1.49 per L           (£0.88)
Diesel               $1.56  per L         (£0.92)
Minimum wage  $8.59 per hour     (£5.05)
can of coke       $0.94                   (£0.55)

Petrol did get above diesel a bit ago, but the supermarkets are having a price war at the moment.

{sorry, everyone else seems to do gallons.}

Yeah, brilliant, let's use USD but still measure volume in L.

lol who buys gas in LITERS in the us when we do not use the metric system.

Minimum wage in the U.S.   $5.15 AN HOUR!!!

So you pay about half of your hourly wage *if u work at mcdonalds or something minmum* to get to work. Ha, think of when winter time comes around and those suckers who arent on budget natural gas bills will have to pay...

Except that our gallons and their gallons aren't the same.

EDIT: One UK gallon = 1.201 US gallons.

Here we go, I converted my per gallon cost to per liter cost:

Petrol               $0.72 per L
Diesel               $0.69  per L
Minimum wage  $5.15 per hour
can of coke       $0.50

And fyi I live in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Think of the minimum wage people who have to pay for heating... along with gas in the winter. Like natural gas and petrol. Must suck to have minimum wage. *cowers and fears the real world, dying cold and in a car with an empty tank*

natural gas prices are rising as well. Some people are sending in teabags (yes i kno retarded) to their natural gas companies to protest the rising prices. The postal system isnt too happy about that because it is cloggin up their machines.

natural gas prices are supposed to rise 20% - 30% in some communities and since most communities or areas just have one supplier of natural gas, there is nothing they can do about it.

Doncaster - Yorkshire - England

so half the price, but half the wage.  bout right

edit, actually not as bad as half wage, so i think USA comes out a bit better.
And London get screwed for their prices.  like it costs sooo much more to get it into London than my town.
FFS it travels about 200miles different.

I think everything about balances out in the end though doesn't it. We pay more taxes and stuff, but we get the national health service. US pay less taxes (I think but I may be ignorant) but your benefits aren't as good.

Unfortunately our sparkling benefit system just attracts immigrants.

oooohhh.

Doc said immigrants in a bad way.

The righteous police will get you.

(your right though, our system is about to breakdown completely.  To many of our own citizens are sat on their ass, and to many new immigrants, more money going out than into the NHS.)

Sorry mate, but you shouldn't laugh about Zodiaccup's insider information!

Think you know, that "Mercedes" was Jellinek's daughter and he used her name as a pseudonym.

But "Karl Benz" was an alias too! In fact it was the Battlefield 1872 (a formerly famous fps by Mechanical Arts) ingame nick of Mr. Carlos Gasolina - of course no german. And since they were a little bit silly about national pride those days, you won't found this info in any official statement of this german company.

Actually the only real SI unit for volume is the cubic metre m³. Liter is metric.
