blown up or bail out?

The situation:

You'r in a tank, shootin, killin, you name it, and suddenly out of nowhere, you see a spec-ops enemy
3 feet next to your tank, placing c4 on your shiny piece of armour.
i normally try to shoot the guy with anything thats mounted on my tank and hope i get him, before he
presses that shiny red button, and blows me to bits,
I play a lot of spec ops, because i love to sneak up to vehicles and blow them up, and i LMAO when i approach a tank with my c4 in hand, and the idiot just bails out, leaving a perfectly fine tank open for me to hop in to and blow him to bits.
and this happens alot, i mean 50% of the time they bail out, and they die because of standing to close to an exploding tank , damn just die with honor, fighting in a tank, not by running away.
I think bailing out is one of the stupidest thing you can do, even when you do escape, you just given the enemy a nice tank, and yours insnt coming back untill that one blows up.
what do you do normally?

I just dont let them get near me with C4. If I happen to choose the wrong kit while wanting a tank and I am spec ops, I will put some C4 on it just incase the thing goes in flames or someone comes near it. When I bail I will blow it to bits and anything else that is around it except for myself haha.

The only time i bail out of a tank, is if i have like 4 bars left, and i hear the *beep* *beep* *beep* *beeeeeeepppp*

I get out and run like hell, and almost always the tank explodes, or someone from the other team gets in, and gets killed within 2 seconds from there teamate..

Kill em...I spin my turret round and move fowards/backwards all the time so no bastard spec ops can get near me. F10/F11 views are also a godsend for it.
Ive been killed by AT rockets more than C4. Maybe because I play in armour on non city maps
But, I prefer to die with the tank - so I can respawn and get it again, not some random Private who doesnt have a clue what hes doing. I occasionally hop out and kill the spec ops dude, but only if he is infact running away.

I bail because alot of spec ops players when near a tank don't know when the enemy has bailed,so they just stick 2 c4 on it and blow it up,resulting in nothing more than a suicide for them.

you bail out as soon as he's about to press the button, this way tank gets blown, and a medic can revive you.

change your view cameras to "C", now that is a godsend.

If a spec ops gets close to me i usually try to shoot him. Unless he's in front or behind, then ill either try to run him over or stay close enough to him so he doesn't detonate. Usually works for me.

A nice little suprise i like to do is plant c4 on my own tank, then if spec ops runs up i hop out. they steal the tank and then i splode them.

Spec OPS stealing tank left by its former user happens as often as :
-Spec OPS blowing up himself and the tank
-Spec OPS blowing up himself and an empty tank ! (truly ! )
-Spec OPS getting owned by the tanker's shotgun ^^
-Spec OPS getting crash under the tracks
-Spec OPS getting killed by another nearby enemy (happens a lot when tanks stick to teamates or together)
-Spec OPS killing tanker after this one has bailed out ^^
-Spec OPS destroying the tank
-Spec OPS getting killed by the tank

Yeah, external views help a lot.

I do check my surroundings while driving/shootin, but there are moments you miss something, and they can crawl up behind ya, Hell like i said i blow tanks with c4 all the time.

Unless the idiot is way ahead of you and strapped two C4 packs onto the tank before he got in allowing him to blow you up as soon as you climb aboard.

I like to take it like a man. I try to take the spec out with the tank and if I can't well... BOOM. I'd rather die a stubborn moron than a coward.

I used to play as Spec-Ops a lot while tanking and the best is jumping out of a tank, having the opposing Spec-Ops take it, and then C4ing him.

dnt bail out..even if the bar is low..the enemy can take the tank and repair it and then ur team is fucked. simple tactics ppl..die with the tank and u get it back again

Lol, I put c4 on the my tank, and when a spec ops gets too near me, I'll bail out, hoping he will hop in, and then I will be the one pressing that shiny button
