Well, if you truly know the shotguns, then you will know that the best ones are the pump action ones and the dao. but, reloading on these things is a bitch right? wrong.
Here are two tips that will help you further your skills in the ways of the shotgun:
Tip one, The glitch
Now, i am not a lover of glitches and exploiting them, but this one is in no way unfair really, in a way it makes the game more realistic. Watch the below video:
As you can see, i shot off two rounds, reloaded, switched to my pistol, switched back to my shotgun and completed the glitch (all this must be done very fast). This gives the illusion to other players that you are reloading. Although you can shoot whilst this, you cannot reload at the same time, which mkaes this an alright bug to use (plus you also have to load the bullet, but that animation isn't seen).
This can be used for trickery and also to scare fellow teammates:
Imagine that phonebox is a fellow soldier. If you were to shoot (with the glitch happening) at the point shown on the picture, the team mate would see the bullets coming right for his head. So, to possibly scare someone, shoot above them, and they will think they are all matrix like or something, and possibly try to stop a shit load of bullets coming towards him with his hand.
anyway... on to the next tip...
Tip 2, Shorten those reloads!
Without the knowledge of the above tip, 99% of you will not like these pump action shotguns and especially hate the dao, as of the long reload time (every bullet has to go in...). If you use the above tip, you can reload as many bullets as you want in your gun, and then stop half way though full reloading:
