i doubt it, though it could (2% chance). id get a new one anyway, you will blow yourself away with the improvement in graphics/fps. besides, a good x1900xt is only $250 now...wish i had waited..almost.
EDIT: re: post above: the graphics are better. even though its the same engine, its all new code, graphics, etc.
