I don't mind a commander who gives out info on enemies close to ally troops. I don't want him to call the 10 units in they base since it's irrelevant.

I had a good commander the other day though. He scanned, gave orders and what not, but he didn't give me orders cause he saw me attacking all the time. So he kept UAVing the places i was. That was nice, and i got alot of flags that day

EDIT: BTW good thread, been thinking of making one myself, but still recovering from the last set of flaming
I'm sorry I flamed j00 so bad but i needed to get it out of my system.  Had just been playing Wake. Every other round these days, i get in the black hawk on the carrier, and have 2 kill sumone with the minigun when theyre about 2 snipe plane pilot. Im tired of it, but I dont want 2 lose in the first 5 minutes.

Oh yeah, and give'em a try, they might be T3}{ 1337 }{@><( ) R.

But they might also be T3H N00BZOR, so if you still do know it for a fact, THEN dont let them in the chopper.

But the good lessons here are-
T34MK1LL5 4R3 T3H B4D
[]D  \\//\\//  []\\[]  [] []\\[] '  IS  TEH GOOOOOOOD

EDIT= Oh yeah, the topic. I absolutely HATE commanders that find it useful to keep spotting people over and over, while they are only relevant to one person, and I'm trying to listen for things, and cant hear my F&CKING PKM FIRING. So please. Use the UAV's. Spot things like planes and choppers and tanks. BUT GODAMIT THERE IS NO NEED TO SPOT THE SAME INFANTRY 20 TIMES

I am right on all subjects so listen to what I have to say.
Any commander who constantly spots enemies over and over and over again just plain sucks.  Its nice to get spots here and there, but there is nothing worse than a super spotting commander.  To me it gets so annoying how much they spot people.  I cant get that stupid "ENEMY SPOTTED" phrase out of my head anymore, its especially worse with MEC or PLA commanders cause their automated voices are even more annoying.  It once got so bad that I repeatedly shot my commander until he left the server.  He ignored all my requests to STFU, but still he kept spotting, unaware of a little device called UAV.

Spotting enemies is a great tool, just dont go overboard. Try to meet team members needs at all times when commander, they have them for a reason.

As a commander I try and spot what is either a threat to my side or to alert troops on my side, what I think is funny, is when a squad leader puts the commander on ignore, using the "red X" and then whines like a whipped puppy about needing supplies or ammo or a UAV. The other thing I think is funny is when you give an order to a squad leader and he declines it then asks for a UAV of the same area that you were sending him too, just too ironic.

I'm one to tell the commander to shut the hell up. If he's constantly saying "Enemy this and that spotted" i can't concentrate. Especially when the enemies being spotted are at the enemy main base. Of course there's going to be enemies there you retard! that's where enemies go! It has actually never been useful to me that a commander keeps doing this. UAV is just fine.
