I searched and was surprised that there is so little about this.

Teamspeak overlay is a program that is supposed to allow you to see who is talking on the screen of your game while using Teamspeak....whether they are in your squad or not.  I just started using TS with a new clan, and am trying to learn all the new people that are using the TS when playing.....I have to keep alt-tabing back to the TS screen to see who is talking.

Teamspeak Overlay is supposed to fix that - and show you on the screen (like BF2 VOIP).

However - cannot get it to work.

The TSO Forums say to use the ALPHA #58 build (i/o of the new Beta #63 build).  However, I can't find the older alpha version out there.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have also tried tweaking the beta version in options, but still does not work.

It is still in Beta form. I had all sorts of issues with the 1.4 patch. I would CTD in every game with this loaded. The best help would be to post on their forums. It was very buggy so I gave up on using it.

Maybe, if you have a G15, download the mod for the G15 screen and it will show you whose talking aswell, as for the Overlay thing, sorry can't help you..

hmm....

Dont have 2 monitors - although that is a great idea......

I have heard of some issues with 1.4 with it....and it slows me down big time.....would be nice to get it going though.

yes,2 monitors is the way to go,i use the second one for t.s,xfire and bf2cc.Saves mucking about with overlays.A second can be very cheap, especially used ones.

So....with 2 monitors....how exactly do you connect them both to one CPU and have different applications open on each one independently?

think of it as one big screen, what type of card do you have. alot of it depends on the card. you should have a two monitor outputs on your video. most good ones have two dvi or dvi vga etc. anways just hook up a second monitor to the second display adapter and enable it in the display properties controller. not hard to do at all. then just drag the apps over to your second monitor you want to view while your in game. keep and mind since it is just one giant monitor so to speak if you mouse over while in game to click on a app then it will minimize your game. anways you could pick up a crappy crt monitor at a garage sell really cheap if that is all you need it for. personally i have my 20.1 in widescreen as my main monitor and use a 17lcd as my second monitor.

Never got TS Overlay to work. I gave up after many hours, believe me I tried, so did my mates.
If anyone has a working version speak up!
