What is the fascination for killing infantry with the TV missle?

I can't tell you how many times I've hovered above 3, 4 5 enemey infantry and by the time my gunner has TV'd ONE DUDE the rest already scattered.

That's question one.

Question Two: 50% of the time my gunner will only shoot the machine gun at armor. NO TV SHOT. So how can I so often have a gunner who will TV infantry but NOT armor???

Maybe I'm lucky but that combination astounds me.

Tv missle kills are sexy

And your gunner doesnt know there is such thing as a tv missle....you need to start soloing or playing with a friend.

I do both. But I also have fun getting total noob gunners and getting them 2 or 3 crew service-type awards in one round.....

It's fun when you see a soldier leave his tank or jeep in the TV screen and still shoot it at him as he runs away.

As for question 2, stop gunning with idiots. Tell them how to do it, or tell them to get out and learn somewhere else. I seem to have a high sucess rate in kicking nub gunners out, try it out.

best thing to do is go nose to ground
and just take all the kills to urself till he learns

TV-guided kills ROCKS.... Inf never know what hit em..... Make a squad with the gunner and talk, that helps for me..

I think a lot of the reason noobile gunners like to use TV missiles is because they think "missile" means "large explosion" when in fact the tv missile has a pretty small blast radius when it comes to hitting infantry.

I feel you, been through that before many times. I usually only go with my clan-mates now, or I make sure that the guy getting in with me is at least a Staff Sergeant, high enough to know what facilities are available.

I'll gun for you sometime mate, I'm apparently "right good" whatever that means down in England, it ceases to astound me...

they are noobs...

but only reason i ever do is because i suspect they are lining me up for armor/ chopper so i try to stay ahead one step and switch to tv.. but then i see they are looking at infantry still... so i just tv rather than waste time.. or have them trying to stall and end up crashing into ground...

Ha - I don't do that to teach them a lesson....I just quickly give up and carry the extra weight around while I do all the work.

TV = for tanks/helos/etc
TV = infantry (large hittable groups) or if u have no more gun ammo (when would tht happen lol)

voice communication is the most important, fly with a friend.

I only fly with the same guy all the time since about 50 heli hours, we communicate true team speak and it works very good.

Response to you question:

1. it seems that he doesn't want a lot of kills if he uses the tv missile for infantry, it's funny some times if you know that the enemy helicopter crew sucks, I also tv some random snipers or if there is one guy running to a flag. But only if there is no armor,helicopter or something else for what I would need a tv missile immediately.

2. he might not know that he has a tv missile...
