BF2S Forums Battlefield 2 'Laws'?

I think EA trying to enforce "laws" on a computer game is just silly.

Okay, I guess you can be a jerk and act like a 6 year old, but i hate people like that, and always will.

If there were to be one real law, it should be that everyone should realise it's a game and act like a mature being, instead of having a temper because they couldn't kill you. Then they begin complainig  that you hack or some wild crap like that.

There already is "BFROE" police. They reset stats if a user is caught breaking the ROE. IMO they are totaly within their bounds to take this action for ranked servers. BF2RS are providing a service (keeping stats) that we do not have to pay for monthly and can take action if someone breaks their rules.

Well I almost hate to go there but I think Bush pretty much shredded the Geneva Convention.....

The whole point here is why do people say these type of servers are 'illegal'? Can't you do whatever you want to do on BF2? (Besides being a jerk and acting like a 6 year old)

You can do what ever you want in unranked servers, but in Ranked servers there has to be a guideline followed so that there's a point to ranking.

If there were no rules, you can go into a server where every kill is counted as two and your friend in a server where kills count as 5. When you'd go to compare both your accomplishments, all you'd get is a jumbled mess of meaningless numbers.

So you see what the BFROE are trying to do is maintain an equality throughout the ranked servers. Without it there'd be no point to having ranks, stats, etc because there'd be no way of comparing or to judge how well you've done. Since the states would count differently depending on what servers you've been on and how they count stats.

It's a concept not many people seem to understand.

It's still not "legal" just the GSP's refuse to take action out of fear of losing customers. You can bet EA will take legal action against that though.

Redefining torture, extreme rendition, whatever you want to call it.  Read a newspaper from time to time and it's fairly easy to keep up with these things.  Perhaps you heard about the recent SUPREME COURT decision that told bush his military tribunals were illegal.  I could go on but its late, so your going to have to do your own learning tonight.
