As the title states.  Can I dl the game through the EA downloader if I don't have my cd?  Cause I left it at home before I left for college.  I still have the cd key with me though.

any help would be appreciated

im pretty sure you need to have the actual cd in the drive for it to work. i've seen this question asked lots before and thats what everyones answer was. maybe see if your parents or whoever can mail it to you. or just wait until next time you go home to get it.

theres a way to get around it... search for it.

im not sure if it works w/ the downloader... but look up daemon tools... it makes a "virtual drive" and ther eu can open "images"  of cd's ... so it appears you have a certain cd in the drive when you dont... your challenge is to find that image...

thanks for the replies guys.  I don't have time to go home, so I'll ask my brother to send me the disk and I'll use Alcohol 120% to mount an image on a vitual drive just incase i don't have my cd with me.
Not
Great success!

I sent you a PM about it but I see you found another solution while I was typing it up. Either way, good luck!

PowerISO is the one I use for this. Works well.

Asuming you mean the CD key, he said in his first post that he has it with him.

assuming that you have battlefield 2 installed on your comp you can

1. create a image file from the battlefield 2 files and mount it with someting like deamon tools then you can play it like that

2. download a torrent with the bf2 data files install, use your cd key when it asks you for it.

3. from that download follow step 1 to create a image.

err cant think of anythin other than that will edit later if i do XD

Because nero fails.

Don't worry about copyright infringement, this is covered under the Fair Use Act.
