Prone in van ranking up kills????

That's right, I caught this one guy doing just that. Not sure how you do this as I cannot see nor fire once prone but this guy sure can. Not only that aim with complete accuracy to boot. I tried aiming for his arms but it did nothing. Maybe that's a bug...I should score an "X" for hitting the arms.

Are you sure he wasnt ducking after each shot? Maybe the van has a glitch. There is one video where they try to take this guy out by shooting him through the open back door and he couldnt be killed. They had to jump up and shot him in the head.

Rapidly press the crouch key while firing. Not sure its exactly the same, but its definitely a nice tip for vehicle gunners.

yea i have been seeing that alot lately, actually saw it today. It also happened me on a server on SF, look closely to the pic on top of the turret :

its a glitch i think, i've seen it a few times... you cant hit the person gunning. I killed the guys by blowing up his car with an eryx

It's a bug that you can't get a hit off his arms. It's not a bug to be able to remain prone and gun people down as if you are not prone. That's some sort of hack IMO. No, he wasn't rapidly popping in and out the turret. When the photo was taken he had taken out at least 12 combatants, all within 1-2 shots.
I think one poster hit it on the head...aimbot. Not sure how though. I can only assume that the aimbot aims and fires for you while you are ducked in the turret blind as a bat.

wouldn't the easiest way of delaing wiht people doing this be to blast the thign w/C4 or some form of missile?( say, jump on top of the thing and drop a nade inside?)

All you do is spin the turret really fast and it looks like you disappear I believe.

I assure you all it's not a hack, it's just a random glitch. I've had this happen to me before, you look like you're shooting like normal, but then people outside say: "you're ducking, how the heck are you shooting?" It's just like when you roll when you go prone, you don't realize you're doing it and have no real control over it, but to others they see you doing something totally different.
