Finally I hit 50k!

20K-50K SUCKED. I hate how long you are a Sargeant So-and-so in this game.

After that the ranks are only 10-15k away. Once you hit butter bar, its all gravy, guys.

I reached 50k about a week ago and since getting it have lost interest in BF2 a bit. Maybe its becaus I reached my goal and can't really be bothered to get any higher. I play a lot more of maps I suck at and POE.

That is very true. That is why there is a awards/promotions thread for this sort of thing. When I got promoted SgtMaj and 2ndLt, I didn't bother making threads about it because, quite frankly, it's no big deal. Seeing hundreds of threads stating,"I just got promoted, look at me!!!" is really disconcerting.

well, i can't stand people that downtalk stats, and brag about theirs.. (svd_twitch), i really don't mind when people hit a rank and are soooo joyful, they make a topic about it. (i'm pretty close to the fabled sgt. major too)
