BF2S Forums Who is the most accurate sniper?

Accuracy is just one aspect. I got 48.7% accuracy, killed 300, died 436 times and a 48,637 GR. I got my Basic and Vet Sniper Badge including a Good Conduct Ribbon all in one round. Does that make me a great player? I don't think so either. Imho, just enjoy the game. The stats are there to just tell you how far you are progressing as a player. As to how it stacks up against the rest of the gaming world, that's way beyond weekend gamers like me, and its for the elite.

I'm spending time trying to become the elite sniper I was back in '42, (hah, that sounds cool,) so I'm slowly getting my accuracy up. It's about 40% now. I'm aiming, (no pun intended,) for at least 50%.

I recall a BF2 dev stating (in a pre-release interview)  that if we wanted to find out who was the best with a knife in Sweden you could do it. As far as I can tell there is no way to do that - and the game has gone through how many patches?

What is the deal they dont release the data to the public in a form that we can organize it ourselves? Why wouldnt they do that?

Hey, how yall doin. with referrence to One shot kills ..... shoot them in the head.. yes yes i know u mentioned it that its hard to pull off but people you problem is the M95 it by far is the worst unlock of all time hands down its is so inaccurate u might as well be throwing rocks at them.  my exp. with it it misses 50% of the time at all ranges above what you may condider reasonably short. all it is good for is a 9 iron and a chopper seat vacator for your own team Grrrrrrrr god damm chopper tk's piss me off something chronich. my acc is 46-47% which i hold the M95 responsible oy took me like 3 weeks to realise that it was a bucket of puss.

To get contact in the head you best shot is with the M24 hits everytime without a doubt smaller lines in the scope itself allow for a more finite headshot at range. the M95 looks like a kid drew on it with a nikko on the scope and u cant see ur target because of the sheer thickness of the lines in it. At long range there is very little need to compensate for gravity unless ur shootin a bloody long way at which the M95 is as usless at tits on a bull. enough raving from me bottom line is get ur M95 and smash it if u think its better i dont like u frankly and u wanna argue look at ubar it will show u the M24 is better than the M95 with accuracy and it has the same power.

I cannot stress enough that the M95 is not good usually ur first shot misses and gets u busted and lets the others with SVD it TYPE 88 or whatever its called to bust 3 caps in ur ass before u can get ur second shot off and it makes a lot of noise and a big flash so it is very easy to get sprung using it if u have a sweet samping spot it makes ur camping shrub look like it has a strobe light in it.

My sniper accuracy is pretty standard (43.97%) but I love sniping. It is also a lot more versatile than just sitting and camping one spot, as some people seem to. I like to use a sniper kit as a high-powered, long ranged accompaniment to a normal infantry squad. This is especially good on maps like Wake, Karkand, Mashtuur, where there is a significant amount of infantry combat across medium range. And camping it up is a great way to relax after an intense match.
I also love getting into sniper duels. Mainly because of Enemy At The Gates. Because of that movie I am obsessed with finding the perfect position so I usually win sniper duels but get a score of about 10 in that round because I spent the whole round crawling up and down hills. I love FuShe Pass for sniper duels, there is a lot of good terrain for it.
I don't like snipers who sit in the top of cranes and snipe. It's such a boring approach. It's like c4ing flags, it's not original or cunning, and it can be effective but it doesn't take a great deal of sophistication. I try (in theory, at least) to play in a way that feels classy, even if it means my score isn't always great.
Anyway, sniper isnt my main kit. I think it's my third most used after spec ops and assault. I am all about infantry squads

Oh yes, and the m24 beats all the other sniper rifles by a long way. As well as the accuracy and the crosshair, I think the fact it is bolt action really helps. It forces you to re-aim and re-consider the shot.
