hi fellas, i want to create a local Bf2 Server right here with my second pc.

i know that u can run a dedicaded Bf2 Server on your PC, enable Internet connection, but:

i want to get access to it via Bf2cc or any other Admin tool. i want to run Bf2 Mods on it. i want to "upload" different maps on it. start battlerecorder on it.

is there a "BIG" Battlefield 2 Server i can download? whats the password if the Server is brandnew and i want to connect to it via Bf2CC? how can i upload Maps an start Battlerecorder on it?

regards, Flonster

Is that all you want to do :p

What are the specs of the PC you are trying to do this on?
I would recommend.... adjust to what you can afford. This would run a CoOp server with battle recorder smooth

As fast of a Dual core that you can afford I would INTEL here (wow that hurts)
Ok I'm over that
2 gig + ram with
and at least a 6800 ultra
Fast Hard drives 10000k running in raid 1 (for Battle recorder)
If running Windows run your Resolution at 800x600 16-bit why this helps I have no Idea maybe someone else can explain this.

Do you know Linux? I would only run it on Linux. I have tried running it under Windows and Linux under CoOp mode running the AI at 100% max bots and custom maps and there is a noticeable increase performance and AI intelligent when running Linux. Now how to run BF2CC, go to BF3CC and Download the Command and Control Daemon you are going to have to figure out how to install it this is where the BF2CC Forums come in handy any problem you run into most likely has been covered here. Once you have the BF2CCD running and configured you should be able to Download, Install, and Login via the BF2CC. All options will now be open to you. To run mods and custom maps all you need to do is install them on the Server and Client side to do this follow the instructions that the publisher has included or look around on forums. This is what I did and it works great.
