I think they should add a "HOY! wait for repair" to the wee talky thing.

i hate trying to run behind a half dead tank trying to repair him.

The ONLY time I have ever team killed purposely was because of this. We were getting our arses handed to us round after round because no one wanted to work together. One guy, can't remember his name, wouldn't let me repair him no matter what. He'd jump the tank and run off all rambo. The next time I died, I came back as AT and blew him up myself.

Yes, I felt guilty, but damnit I was pissed.

At least your trying to repair the right stuff. Had a guy last night who was jumping in armour, damaging his own command assets and then repairing it. He couldn't quite understand why we went on a TKing spree on his ass and typed "Why are you killing me, I only want to repair something". FFS

Yeah enough times i have sat there repairing tanks and they just drive off,thinking why aren't i getting repaired?
Worse when they run you over,god i get pissed when they do that! (like the pwned life vid trying to help and get run over!)

Doc, you always get people wound up.

We did get joking about this in that ^^ thread, but it would be useful to have something like this.

I don't mind when they drive off without knowing your there, but when you get up to them and stat repairing, and there off... FFS what do you expect me to do.
Its the drivers that don't pick you up again when you get out of the gun to repair that suck most. And no amount of shouting will get them to play any other way.

Thing is, when you get a good 'tread head' that can work with you it can be so sweet. One tank taking out 10 times its own weight in enemy Armour relay ruins someones day.

P.S, tank surfing for the win.

Be squad leader, hit "T" or whatever you have squad leader command rose set to, mouse over repair here and a purple smoke can will mark the spot of your choosing with a nice purple smoke and with repairs needed here. If whoever is in need of repairs cant figure to go there you have to wonder how they managed to install the game in the first place.

As a longtime engineer, I feel the pain. It is so rare to find an intelligent tanker, they just get this tunnel vision and maybe don't even look at their health bar anyway.

My favorite- when I have to hide and fix my own tank just to have some asshole jump in and drive off while my wrench is still turning... After so many times, I started throwing a mine on the turret while I repair so if this happens we will teamkill each other.

I think they need to bring a grappling hook or wheel clamp to stop them moving away.
