When do you lot think your gonna quit? I know a couple of good gaming buddies have left bf2 and the internet behind (elmo1337). Do you have any goals to reach before you go? Will you move on to new games or just find a more active hobby?

I never use to see why people would quit completely from this game rather than play it less often but now i do. This games too fun, too easy and its good to play with your mates on, but it also takes up alot of your time, when i was working as opposed to being at college i didnt play this game for a good month but now im back at college this fucker is taking over. Personally i cant see myself playing till christmas and that will be it for online games for as long as i can.

When will you sign off?

Not for a while. While you guys are all getting tired of BF2, I've only been playing since June. Take that and compare it to the near 2 1/2 years I played Call of Duty and United Offensive, infinitely simpler and more bare-bones games than BF2.

Dunno, as long as I find it entertaining I will keep playing!!!!
That goes with all other games/hobbies for that matter.
Well, If my friends quit playing, then I would definitely stop playing or reduce it in a large scale!!!

I mean, this game is the first one that has taken me to a forum for it, 1 year earlier my NERD FACTOR would have reached level 10 if I had registered in one.

This is the first game that we discuss as a subject with friends and work buddies, earlier my NERD FACTOR would have reached level 10 if we would have discussed some game over the phone etc...

BF2 is something different, that´s why I hope that it will not die in a long time, I don´t know about you guys, but I have enjoyed my time here in the forum on on the battlefield very much.
And if you like what you do, why quit????

This is off course just my opinion about it, but I think that I speak for many of us here on BF2S.

Haven´t heard yet that someone is forcing himself to play because this is a trend thing or something, it´s just for simple fun and me-time!!!!

I am quite bored with BF2, there are practically zero decent pilots left, and the few elite guys (mcmt, phantom, califragilistic) practice 1on1 fights so much that they're effectively unbeatable. Infantry has been nerfed too much, and choppers.. bored with em.

TV APCs in POE will keep me happy for now.

I had buddies with about 200 hrs when I started playing. They gave it up around 250 hrs for America's Army. (Yeah, its more realistic and that's cool and all, but it still sucks dying once and sitting there for 10-20 minutes waiting for the round to end...)

Now I'm up to about 750 hrs, KD and SPM near 2.0 and 2.5, respectively. I enjoy being near the top of the leaderboard round after round. But I think this is the key: IT JUST AIN'T BORING YET!

probably not for awhile....i dont play all day everyday so it keeps it fresh to me....plus i have a life outside of this game (girlfriend of over 6 years, college (senior year), lookin into grad school for my masters, play soccer for my college, and just havin a good time). I will play less im sure but i play alot by myself now and play a decent amount which will go down throughout the years once i get a job and stuff but....it keeps me entertained and stuff and i enjoy gettin medals and awards which is unlike any other game out there so thats interesting to me. I used to play cs 1.6 alot and still do from time to time but i stopped once i started playin BF2....so im sure the same will happen....everyone will move on...i will keep playin and then slowly move on....unless lifes issues and road blocks take hold first (family and stuff)....

...moral of the story....not any time soon but....eventually im sure.
