After reading some guides on here lately about assault, I have decided to make an Infantry Only assault account. I gave up on assault when I first started because I was a noob and did not know how to use it that well. So, I am going to experiment to see how good that kit is. I consider myself an average player. so do not expect any leetness. Anyway, for those of you interested, the account name will be Joran_Van_Der_Sloot1 , and I will update this post every once and a while with my results. Like I said, 99% of you could care less, but I bet a few might be curious to see how it works.

flash bangs only affect noobs. i can see a flash thrown, and turn so it doesnt affect me. the assault walks around the corner and eats the bullets from my AK101

Flashbangs also affect you when you have your back turned.. they just have to be close enough..

Flashbangs also affect you when you have your back turned.. they just have to be close enough..

you can still see if your a foot away. If you want good flashbangs, play AA, they take you out for like a minute, within about 20 feet.

Well, after playing a little yesterday, I can say I miss my machine gun. It is much easier to play this game when you can ammo or heal yourself. But, I just unlocked the G3, so maybe the K/D ratio will improve.

I dunno ive been playing a lot of G3 lately and its been awesome. Played a couple rounds of mass destruction with G3 only and got a couple of golds. Also works mighty fine in Iron Gator.

g3 good assault weapon, its the best weapon in my eyes for assaulting positions, hope that helped mate

I just started doing assault a week ago and I'm surprised at how fun it is! I noticed you do jalalbad with your assault avatar which is where i've been for the last 40 hours of play straight (IO) and assault is good for that map..after the first few flag exhanges. Or, stand by a supply crate and fire off GL rounds all day! Good clean fun.

Oh, I noticed you don't have SF or the unlocks for SF. Being assault, you should so you can get the F2000. It's a very different rifle than the others. I'm still debating between the f2000 and m16. I still think the m16 rifles are the best in the game..well, the best for me since I haven't done as good with the AKs.

somebody doesn't play CS..

you need to time your flashbangs. Time em so they go *bang* in front of your face, rather than bouncing off 3 walls and lying on the ground for 3 seconds before going off.
