Ive just started with the assault class in SF, and god damn it is such an underused and under-rated kit. It kicks ass! Im seriously dissapointed I never used it more in vanilla, but when im bored of SF, I might have to try it
Ive never liked the F2000, but now Ill take it over an AK anyday now. A bit of practise on the SAS team has seriously payed off. Im now earning much better KD scores with assault than I did as medic Suppose thats because Ive had more experience compared to when I used to flat out medic.
But the GL is superb. Just learn to aim with it and adjust the height which you have to aim for different range. I can hit anything up to medium range now with relative ease. My record so far is a triple kill on 3medics all going in on the same dead person...from the Warlord TV Station first floor to the corner of the Insurgent Compound. Even rooftop snipers have had a GL in their face
Its also the most useful thing in the palace on Warlord. If you are on the third floor with the mounted LMG, some enemy ducks behind the wall on the opposing CP, just pop a GL round down there. He aint got no chance. Its quicker and more reliable than a hand grenade in that situation.
