Ok so everyone who says rank means nothing is only about 25% right. A high rank means the person has played many many hours which means he has alot of experience. Im not saying that every colonel or general is amazing but most are. Some are actually not really good at all. But i have just noticed that most lower ranks say rank means nothing i guess just to make themselves feel better. We ll it means alot as the person has 100's of hours more experience than you. Flame all you want but its the truth.

i personally think rank means alot in a game, you see a bunch of gunnery sergents v a bunch of leautenants, its always the higher ranks who win, they higher ones always know how to do things effectively and win the games and most of the time end up raping the other team to death!

It depends, lot of high rankers only care about their own points, while some lower ranked do some nice teamplay, but on the other side: some lower ranks only act noobish while a high ranked guy makes the difference for his team.
It all depends on the person itself, although I agree that more time (no glitch) is more experience

you got good high rankers
you got shitty low rankers
you got shitty high rankers
Heaven is right! I don't trust people under a officer rank, especially if its a very precious seat in a Jet oder Heli! I prefer using them alone and being more effective and helpful for my team, than wasting this important piece of warfare to a noob, without a idea how to use the TV oder laser Missiles! Its just a waste of time!

This sounds quite unfair to lower ranked especially people with a second account (but thats their fault) but I had those guys very often. And well, if u say that everyone was a beginner one time, u are right. But at that time, high experienced players were rare.

i'm a pretty high rank and i'm always the first to say that rank means NOTHING. so what if they've played the game for 1000 hrs, that doesn't always mean that they are better than you in any way. i get owned by first sgts. and lower much more than any generals, colonels, or captains.

A high rank doesn't necessarily mean you are good in any way. It just means that you have played for a while. I have seen some high ranks that..quite frankly were really bad players.

#2 Karkand medic
#3 Karkand medic rabbit
#4 Airplane or helo spawn rape

Now, there is nothing wrong if this is the way you want to play, it is your game, do what you want. But to be honest, most of us are not imprssed by this at all.

It depend on what you look at. If his KD ratio is like 0.5 or down to 0.3 he's obviously not good. Unless he's trying to get knife and Shock paddle kills all the time but you would notice that.
Then again those who have high KD ratio often have whored tank and Airplane which will give you loads of kill before you get killed if you play againts noobs.
If you got a high kd while being ground only you are pretty good I'd say. Because almost everything else can rape you. :3

Many people have said, rank CAN mean nothing. But what if its a second accnt? I flew for a seargent and we TORE the enemy apart. And I asked if it was a second accnt. And it was. His first account was a frickin 1 star gen.
(dam, cant find the scnreeny where some gunnery seargent went 35-4 consistently from ground pounding)
