Don't compromise man, do not buy gifts etc, it will only work for so long and she still won't like BF2.
My advice, get rid of her, stay single, party hard and nail anything that moves until you are at least 30 and then find a girlfriend that likes the same things you do.
If that doesn't work, go the hummer option as mentioned above.

Ir you're worrying about stuff like this, you won't be able to give the game the attention and concentration it deserves.
She should understand this and just learn to cherish those little bouts of 15 seconds you get to spend together before respawnig. I usually die a dozen times or so, so she gets 3 minutes attention per round. I think that's plenty.

Decide which is more important. Should you decide that your girlfriend is more important, then hang out with her more so you won't have time to play BF2. For the first few days it may be tough, but after that it will be easy to abstain from playing BF2. Then this won't be a problem anymore.
i have tried the whole, you have a go darling approach (didnt work) i have found that a DS lite with a copy of animal crossing works really really well!
Well I found the perfect woman, she likes that I game & that I have a hobby to take up time when she's busy or in school. I explained my addiction to her in the very beginning & that I knew how bad it was but I was impossible to change because I loved it.
I never ignore her for gaming, she always takes precedence, if she wants to watch a movie I'm there up on her, then after the movie sex! Then after I spend the required cuddle time after post orgasm she falls asleep leaving me to game to the early hours of the morning.
Before I met her I was gaming at least 4-6 hours on work nights, & 10 -16 hours on days off if not all day, now I get about 2-3 hours after work & 1 of my days off {the day she happens to be at work.}
I think its great , shes given me a life in the real world again, we eat at nice places, we go out & do stuff like the body works we just saw which was gross. Hell shes even turned me onto some great books.

My wife and i went through a bit of an odd patch, probably nothing compared to some peoples relationship problems, but as bad as its ever been for us.
BF2 became the Focus of the problem, not the cause, so perhaps give some thought to what is relay behind this.

Setting up a second account for her this week, then building a second LAN party rig for me!
Best idea was to arrange a set time when BF2 was the priority, i get one evening a week and some weekend time where its definitely PC, any other time on is flexible.
She goes and dose her own thing.
Oh, and i find as long as you don't stay on after she has gone to bed, #wink #wink, then there are a lot less problems.
(But isn't that the best time to play uninterrupted.- Personally if i knew i wouldn't wake her i would get up again and play, shit i do have a problem:))
