You need to make sure you are in a tank or something, you canot fire if you are in a car unless you press f2 first

that is one of the biggest newb question i ever seen. not sure y your brother just tell u to left click. He probably the one who tell u you to right click just to see if you do it.

it always left click for any game to shoot, unless u changed the controls when it can be whatever button you assigned it too.
