So, any of you guys successfully tried to create an account during the last 3 hours ?

About 20 tries here and all I get is "The server is timed out. Try again later."

Hmmm... I slightly get a feeling that it could be problem on my side...

Somebody else ?

All I know is that last night it took FOREVER to login to my account. I think the account servers are fux0rd.

Meanwhile on the server side at EA:

Damage Control: "The servers are flooding too fast!!!"

Chief Engineer: "She can't take much more of it!"

Panicking Crew Member 1 (Fetal position and shacking under console): "We're all going to die..."

Panicking Crew Member 2 (Running and screaming): "AHHHHHHH ABANDON SHIP!!!"

I mean, it was totally unexpectable, that a whole bunch of people would download the demo and want to play it. So, of course, we create an account server on grandpas 386i, that we found in the dumpster the other day...

EA and the vicious circle of incompetence...
