Hi. Just couple minutes ago I was playing Wake Island and I was flying the J-10. Enemy F-35B killed me like 3 times with a wierd style. I lookd my back to see what is he doing and I saw him there and first he flyes like 5-10seconds behind me with the bomb drop thing on so it wont give me a missile warning beep or what ever it is Then he switches to the missiles fires 2 and everything is over in 0.5 - 1sec It beeped when the first missile hit. So is there a some kinda of a bug in the planes? If you fly behind enemy for a while and it locks immediately when you switch to missiles? Or am I just being paranoid

Festina.   Sorry for bad english

The missile will probably lock onto the nearest aircraft.  Since he's right behind you, that aircraft would be yours.  I've never tried that, but sounds like a good tactic.  I do fly around in bomb mode so as not to tip off an enemy jet when I come up behind it, but I usually try to take it out with MG fire.

I think he just lines you up and doesn't even get a lock.  I don't wait for a lock-on while I am in the Anti-Air vehicle or Stingers if a helicopter is close by hovering.  I have also gotten two pilots while they were repairing/reloading on the aircraft carrier, using bomb the HUD, then lining up the crosshair and immediately switch to the missile HUD and fire away.  The missiles shoot straight by default if there is no lock on.

If he's right on top of you, you won't notice the travel time of the missile. I do that too, he was stalking you, waiting for you to level out, as soon as you did, he got a lock on you asap and the two missiles were off their clips and in your afterburner before you could turn. My best advice when you're in a dogfight with someone who you can't shake is to lead him around while swerving to avoid missiles and mg fire and just pickup bombs and look for ground targets. Or hit the stratosphere and hope he lost you in the fog. Note: You don't leave trails when you go completely straight, one of the best ways to lose someone is to fake a loop. Pull back til you're upside down in your loop then bank any direction and go straight to make sure you don't leave a trail. Double loop if necessary. You really have to just play it by ear.

To sum up, not a bug, you just got worked.

Uhmm, Can you say Heat seaking missiles.  It locks on to the very first target ahead of it that is speeewwing out a hot heat source.   That is why he kills you so fast.  I have done it before also.   It works greats.  That is not a bug.  It is very good thinking.

i think you can actually fire the missle before the lock is complete and if you lock while they're in flight theyll go to the that target so he switched and fired while locking on then as the lock was complete the missle were allready half the way there

you can do the same thing on the stinger. you don't HAVE to be locked on to hit the guy.. if he.. or you is close enough, it'll lock onto whatever is in the air
