Was wondering if anyone else is having problems with low FPS? I'm only getting between 25-30 FPS, specs are as follows.

AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 Dual core @2.86ghz
DFI Lanparty nF4 SLI-DR
2 x EVGA 7900GTXs 512mb in SLI @650/1600
2GB OCZ gold DDR 500
2 x WD Raptors 74gig (Raid 0)
1 x Maxtor 300gig 7200rpm (Storage)
Thermaltake big Typhoon
Enermax 600W NoisetakerII PSU
Thermaltake W0099RU PurePower Power Express 250W Power Supply (for video cards only)
HP L2335 23" widescreen
Logitech G-15 Keyboard
Logitech G-5 laser mouse
Logitech X-530 5.1 surround speakers

I should be getting much more then that! I can run it with AA at 4x or run it with no AA and still get the same crappy 25-30 FPS.

Maybe a setting I'm missing?

Really nice system, I wish I had that kind of system too. I don't know why ur getting so bad fps, you checked your ping and internet connection?

Big fat thumbs down to 2142. Looks like they've taken BF2's engine and made it even buggier. I wonder if their first priority will be finding and wiping peoples' stats if they pad for the shoelaces badge.

It's not your system m8, I think everyone is having a few probs.
Does BF2 and POE2 run fine? If they obviously do, then it's just the demo.

Thanks for the input guys!

I run the game at 1600x1200 all high settings, with the +szx 1920 +szy 1200 on the shortcut. Tried taking that off, didn't change anything.

My ping was fine about 20. And I have the 3meg cable.

In Bf2 and POE2 I get an average FPS of about 80-150.

My squad m8 has a lower end system, he's running an athlon 4000+ with one 7900GTX, and 2gigs of Ram. He is running with the same settings as me, and he was getting about 60-80 FPS.

Going to try an reinstall the game.

Didn't change anything!

Make sure you dont have a ton of other apps running in the background.  Check task manager and try to keep the # of process running to about 30-40.

Cheers!

Well I found the problem! I had to rename the BF2142.exe to BF2.exe. EA/dice screwed the pooch again! Now I get about 70-120 FPS!

Thanks for the help guys!

Hmm...I thought that's what it was, and have tried it a few times. Maybe I wasn't typing it in correctly. Either way, thanks.

Get the free version of fraps and run it while you play.

Make sure your drivers are updated as well. Run a few free benchmarks also to be sure. It is not your hardware but it could be your configuration.
