after about 5-6 hours of the demo gameplay I feel:
i agree its WAY to newbfriendly and the only thing that takes skill is the hover tank and the point and shoot missle thing for the doragon or whatever its called
Sigh...heaven forbid DICE make it so that new players can pilot a vehicle without having to spend hours in empty servers like I did when I was learning to fly in BF2. If your upset that players can put an end to your rape parties, why don't you just say it? Yes, its frustrating that I can no longer grab a chopper and rape a base for the entire game.

the guns we have are shit...horrible accuracy....hell when i get hit by sometimes i have no idea where the guy is if he is more than 30 feet away i have no idea where the hell the bullets are coming from it needs a better player hit detection system like bf2 where you have the red lines where it shows the general direction where the shot came from... well not the hit detction u know more like the damage awareness that bf2 has
actually, it DOES have the red line thingy. And the guns are actually pretty good if you practice. Especially the PAC assault rifle. I've gotten multiple 80+ point rounds defending the titan with that rifle.

still the hover tanks are still kind of easy i went a whole round of conquest today without dying in a 50 man server..... after about 6 months or so i still havent gone a whole round without dying in a round in bf2 (unless i was commanding or the other team sucked ass and we capped all the flags in 2 minutes)
I notice a lot of players are seeming to have difficulty with the hovertank, making them easy rail cannon fodder. Its definately more a finess vehicle, which is kind of nice for you, because you seem to have a more egalitarain view of the game. I do enjoy the fact that the hovertank is much harder to hit with weapons.

there is way too many stationary base defenses...at least in this demo map anyway i went a whole round just defending the harbor flag on conquest (northeast silo on titan) and i defended the flag all by myself with just one of these defenses only dying once because i didnt repair the AA/Antivehicle emp pulse thing after a tank came and tried to take the flag
The extra base defenses...eh. They are good, and they aren't good. It depends. Lets say for example, I'm in a dropship trying to take that flag. Land? Fuck that, I'll launch pod out of the ship, land on your turret, shoot/kill you, and attemt to cap the flag. Hopefully the bobcat will still be there and I can use its gun while capping. To the same effect, If I was IN the turret, I would attempt to shoot down the dropship and depending on its appoach, I would either stay in and shoot it down, or get out and prepare to intercept drop pods.

the learning curve for this game is very very short and gameplay is way too slowpaced for my liking
c'mon now i want something thats going to challenge me when i play a video game.... not something where i can pretty much master flying/tanks mechs in just a few short hours
I like that though in a multiplayer game. You want your teammates to be adept right? remember, this is a multiplayer team game. Your not Rambo.

thast what makes bf2 so great
hell i have just about 500 hours playing bf2 and within the last 200 hours or so i have just learnt how to fly helos respectivly...dont even get to me on the jets in bf2 i still suck ass after playing the game for that long///tanks are quite easy but i cant go a whole round without getting screwed by a bunch of at guys
power to you. I suck at tanks, I don't care for them too much. I'm alright in jets and pretty decent in choppers.
