Is this a BIG improvement? I just got it. I was recovering from some HARD nub days, since this is my first FPS. But yeah, how critical is this in the respect category... the veteran category, things of that nature.

I've never seen a "good" player with under 1.0 so it's a nice thing to have. For that matter, I just broke 2.0 about 20 minutes ago, as well as increasing my kill streak by 10.

My K/D on my old account was 1.0009, right before I quit.
Now I'm at 2.1516, but thats on a new account where I know what I'm doing.

As for getting back to 1.0 K/D, I'd say its a big accomplishment, and congratulate you for getting back into some decent numbers.

mine is 2.5+ after a year of playing. curious, what are your opinions on what makes one person's K/D much higher or lower than anothers? is it play style, experience, skill, all of the above, or something else entirely?

im at 4.31, hopefully push that up over 5 soon...as to what makes a persons kdr higher is simple, take 1 j10, whore up wake island continuously and itl head north easily if you can make rounds 60 kills or so to 0 deaths which isnt hard at all to do

But what you really want is a good infantry weapon KDR...

Its how can you say... "respectable"... having good armor / jet kdr is... expected... You SHOULD have a good armor kdr.. But infantry weapon KDR and flag work are the important ones.

1.0 is a good accomplishment. I'd say K/D Ration and SPM are the most important factors in determining skill. Congrats.
