ok, has anyone here ordered an alienware laptop from www.alienware.co.uk?

cos i ordered one about a month ago, and am still on phase twatting 3.

£800 i spent, and they aren't even answering back emails i get lied to on the phone and made jealous by all my friends with their laptops.

so, basicly, has anyone ordered one, and how long does it take to get here?

Yeah, except it's a laptop and I've never come across anybody building their own laptop.... LAN rig yes, laptop no.

I've heard many negative comments about Alienware's customer service, basically that it's very poor. Did you get a delivery date when you ordered your laptop? If you did, I'm pretty sure that if they have gone over that date you can cancel your order as I'd suspect it is viewed as breach of contract. Visit your local citizen's advice bureau and I'm sure they be able to help.

I'm now on my 5th e-mail to them, without any reply, if I don't get the system by the end of the month I will pull the money back.
It seems that the by out by Dell has sent them to the dogs. I run a £3million pound company with 12 Dell SX 280's, all we have had is problems, 6 x new mother boards and 2 x hard drives.
I will never use Dell or Alien again.

alienware is meant to be one of the best of the shelf manufactures going, the specs they give on there rigs etc are pritty good, but if they where bought out by dell, theres your answer. (no hope). They would have give you a delivery date with a lou period, if this has expired, cancel your order, get your money back!!!

i spent about 2000 on a desktop-replacement laptop because of travel, it took about 6 weeks, been a year and trouble free since, and it will eat most of the desktops it comes across

maybe they made a typo between "shipping" and "building". a common typo, the keys are like, right next to eachother

Well from the look of the Alienware web site, it is quite similar to the Dell web site so maybe Dell have just bought them over.
