May be in the wrong section but its both 2142 and Bf2 so I didnt know.

Over the last 2-3 days I've been downloading BF2142 demo through Xfire. Its been going fine and no increase in lag or anything but today I went on my normal servers where I havea  ping of around 30 and I had a ping of something like 170 and it was jumping a lot to 200 and down to 130. I'm always being kicked due to high ping.

I dont have xfire on whilst I play Bf2 so any idea's why i suddently lag so much and its really unbearable.

Any thoughts?

2-3 day d/l? u need a new PC my friend. The d/l took me like 1.5 hrs, probaly could have done it in 1hr from a diff source.

I mean it was over a period of 2-3 days. it only took a few hours but I kepts stopping and starting it when I logged of my PC and played BF2.

Also just tried CoD2 and thats hugely laggy and I have a huge ping too.
