for me, knifing seems a little dificult. maybe its just because of the insane lag in the titan.

I tried to knife someone in the face but it didn't killed him... and it don't even hurted him, is the knife only for backstabs ?

its a bit different, but i knife them the same way a do in BF2. Prey on unobservant snipers and campers

then i watch some counter countdown from 10 and then another down from 5...
I seem to get about the same luck knifing in 2142 as BF2. The animation seems to show a farther range than it truly is. It could be lag, but I still seem to get quite a few knife kills.
its laggy on the titan yes.. But I can give you an tip: when they are in the reactor room.. run around it and get behind them and start using your knife.. Easy to get them becouse there are shooting at the reactor.. been doing it loads of time.. think I got around 100 knife kills just becouse I did that on the titan.. (in more rounds ofc)
I will admit sometimes it doesn't register. There was a guy that was afk. I knifed him about 15 times, any angle I could think of, but dust just flew off. I said screw it and shot him in the head with the sniper.

has anyone gotten in a 1 on 1 knife fight? i got into one and i swear it lasted three minutes before i finally gave up and shot the guy in the face. anyone notice knife fights being exceptionally hard? maybe its just because you cant really bunny hop.

Knifing is a lot easier than in BF2. The knife has never failed for me yet and I love the "sssschviiing!" sound.

I've gotten in a 3 on 1 knife fight. I podded over to an enemy base and pulled out my knife. The first guy unloaded his AR clip on me, I dodged most of it. The second guy did the same. They both pulled out their knifes and we started fighting. A third guy came along and shot hit support gun at me until it overheated. I was hurting, but about to knife one of the dudes. The third guy pulled out his LMG and killed me. Spoil sport.
