Well boys and girls, its been a while since I have posted here. I thought this would be a good return post though.

When I first bought my PC, I was happy with its specs. Then I bought BF2.....and salivated for more!

I then upgraded to a X800GTO 16 256 video card, 2 Gigs of Ram over a 3.4 Ghz processor and a 19" LCD and really LOVED playing BF2 in all its glory.

After months of playing I was doing research on buying a Mac, and was kinda scared of leaving my gaming ability behind..

Finally 2 weeks ago I made the plunge and purchased a 24"iMac

I was worried that I wouldnt be able to play BF2 or beyond once i sold my PC.

I was wrong. I intalled Bootcamp and am Running XP.

with a 2.16Ghz Core2Duo a Gig of Ram and a Nvidia 7300GT

BF2 runs amazing!!! No slow down at full video options.

This is not even the most powerful Mac.....so I know many will be able to handle it.

The 24" even has the ablitliy to upgrade RAM and the Video Card.

I love my new Mac..

Good to hear, I love my mac, an old sawtooth G4, but still runs my graphic programs better than my game monster PC. Nice to know if I upgrade my system I could start gaming on it.

That wasn't the point of this post. He wanted to tell many people out there who are thinking of buying a Mac computer but afraid that they will lose gaming capability once and for all.

Anyhow, I congratulate you on your recent purchase of your new computer, it is always a nice feeling to buy a new computer and very exciting to use it. Even though I am sticking with my PC, for those of you who are afraid that BF2 will not run on Mac, here is a perfect example of a person who has a Mac playing BF2 without complications.

Yes, my friend uses Logitech MX900 since his Mac has built in Blutooth capability and he likes his mouse very much. Also you can use virtually any mouse on Mac now so do not be afraid of not having our precious right click.

Yeah,

Before you start assuming the wrong thing, make sure you have all your info in line lol

-Macs do have left and right click and even a scroll ball...so no arguement there. Even then, like Marlboroman said...you can get any mouse you want.

I was a mac guy for over a decade and finally gave up on them due to price and lack of games. I still have an old 2001 ice ibook with an airport card used for web surfing. It's all beat to hell but it still works. If I can ever afford a decent mac again I'll be pleased as punch to be able to load up BF2.

That whole "I like right clicky" argument is lame, and ignorant. Shows you have no idea about the topic. Been using a two button mouse on my mac for 8 years. And other than 3D MAX have not found one program (other than games) that is not also made for mac, or there is a better mac equivalent.
Mac for work, PC for games.
