just been playing on a server and i started getting some basic badges and ribbions again, that i already have.

You have that much time played and you haven't encountered this yet? Lucky you.
I think it has something to do with the server. Somehow the stats havent come through and the game thinks you are a totally new player. DO you have your weapon unlocks when it happens?
I would jump from these servers right away because any points you make will not be updated to your profile.

The points will be updated. I too have got those "old" ribbons and badges numerous times so those begin to be "part of the game" now. I have always played the round and got those points too.
I agree that this must be server related matter. Maybe they're testing some beta-hack...

sometimes the servers dont read ur accounts properly if the servers have been up a long time and filled up with our crap without being "cleaned out"...i.e the servers are decomissioned for a small period of time to clean out all the crap ppl bring in when they play...so ur shown as a private i think and dont get to play with your unlocks and awards pop again even tho u've got them already...no u cant get '2' of a certain badge it just shows up coz it reads u as a private but the points u get still count to ur normal account so dont worry too much about "having lost ur stats" because its just a server connection problem...hope that helps

And so on and so on.
Like most people you just login and start playing and therefor you don't see that your stat sais private.
The game thinks that you don't have any badges so when you meet the requierments, you get the badge. That goes to your BFHQ but, sins you alredy got the badge, it doesn't mater. You get all points and medals (1st, 2nd, 3rd place) but if you meet some requierment for higher badges (Vet. og Exp.) you don't get them.

Bug, glitch, thing... Always take a second to check that when you enter a game, you hit the tab key to check that the server reports exactly who you are.... It would be a real pain in the bum if you had the best round ever, only to find that the server is misreporting.... because anything you gain, points, kills and so on, you lose.
Hey guys! Could this be my problem? I have played about 4 hours and i have nothing on my bfhq but zeros and the nice shiny 'shadowed' medals I have earned? EA has no help for me cuz they think im stupid and dont know the chevron v's means they are ranked and that's what reports your earnings. I need help I have no stats in like 8 days and 4 hours of play time. Thank ppl!
