Over the past week I have noticed whilst playing my movements have become jittery but not sure if it is a LAN or GRAPHICS issue.

All has been well up until the beginning of the week.  I have not made any changes to the system or installed additional software.  I defrag the drives weekly which also includes defragging the pagefile.

I have made sure I don’t have any extra drives/apps loaded into memory.

Is there a way I can isolate and identify if it’s a LAN or a Graphics Card issue ?

Are your in game settings set for Cable/DSL not T1/LAN, also do you have VOIP enabled in game?

ME TO!  I just assumed it was graphical lag, which does happen from time to time, you see the enemy do the dam worm, or jitter back and forth on the spot, and you sit there thinkin WTF as you try and aim.

My controls get jittery when there is interference with my cordless mouse, receiver too close to my amp or something...  might be relevant...

I'm not game to get into aircraft at the moment because of it.  I have the T1/LAN option selected at the mome but will try the other tonight - but if I use Cable instead of ADSL won't that matter ?

If I disable VOIP I will obviously not be able to communicate with others unless it's via keyboard ?

Have thought.........  is my ping rate a good indicator ?

Fritzables ?

Myself and a few others have experienced the jitters when in game settings are set to T1/Lan, setting to cable/dsl has cured this. Reason being that T1/Lan setting causes way too many TCPIP packets to flood the network and causes lag.

Disabling VOIP can help if your mic is constantly transmitting and flooding the network. If you use VOIP maybe try changing the sensitivity. You could go a round or two with it disbled to see if it helps. May help determine whether the jitters are network related anyway.

Ping rate is a good indicator too. Hit TAB in game and see what your ping is. Under 100ms is acceptable, under 50ms is good. Also note that another player in the game with a high ping can drag everyone down and give them the glitches.
