For those who will be playing support, which tree do you plan on unlocking?
the Ganz HMG or the Clark 15B?

I will be getting the Clark 15B tree.
It has the IPS shield, Advanced ammo hub, PDD-200, and the shotty.

I think that those items are perfect for Titan attaking and defending. It is also a good tree for city combat.

yeh i think ill go with that tree, i like playing support on bf2, and these unlocks would match my playin style

I think i'm gonna go with the Ganz HMG mostly because I play support because of the huge weaponery, and it really doesn't get any bigger or better than the Ganz

There are squad bonuses remember. If you keep doing well it lets you temperarily choose one unlock up

I unlocked the Ganz tree first in the beta and I was glad I did. I got EMP grenades for escaping from vehicals, a NetBat^tm which puts a nicce red mark on the ever pesky cloaked reocns, a sentry drone to cover my back and the Ganz which is IMO the best gun in the game. High ROF, low drop and it gets more accurate as it fires. What more could you want?

As soon as I get the game I am going to make a mod to include all of the unlocks. If I feel like it I will upload it.
I have alot of experience from BF2 with this sort of modding

I'm going for the Ganz first. I am very impressed with the MG's in 2142. I once got on a pod onto my own titan, and went down that hatch thing that puts you above the main floor. I mowed down 10+ titan attackers. 20 pts+ in about 2-3 minutes. Ended up with a SPM over 4.

If you like to attack titans go for the Clark tree,

IPS sheild = Lay it down so other trops can edge out into corridors (although this is obviously useful for defence as well) = win
Advanced Ammo thing = Quick refueling, good for when you need to keep an attack going = win
Pulse Meter = Find out how many enimies are waiting for you = win
Clark Shotgun = Clearing machine = win

If you like to defend titans the HMG tree is better,

EMP Nades = No real use, aside from disabling attackers HUD's when they push in = semi-win
NetBat System = Spot any cammo'd people that try to sneak in on you = win
Sentry Gun = It shoots for you, it can sit there and shoot bullets = win
HMG = More firepower then you can shake a stick at in a under a second = win

I think alot of people will underestimate the 'strange unlocks' in this game. Like the PDD-200 and AE-Defuser. IMHO those are the best tools for titan attacking if you are in a squad.

True, the smaller less noticed unlocks will be the ones that give you that little bit of tactical information that could well help you save a squad.

Nah - the mirror one is a class act. He is not even wearing gloves!

But anyway, I would say the Baur H-AR line for assault could also be used quite effectively in titan defence attack. Sure, the support class will be the the main one, but that unlock line on Assault brings a lot to the table, especially in terms of supporting the support soldiers

Actually, they're pretty useful when you're pinned down by a vehicle, or there's some frustrated engy on your team getting sick of the active defense.
