I love the unlocks, but also the emphasis on teamwork.

Well the only time I really get good team work going is when I have clan members in my squad.

A, there are no unlocks in the demo 2142, so I'm not going to vote quite yet
B, I hope it will be sweet with all the unlocks (especially the NetBat things, and an AA missile).

C, some people are reporting even smoother running on 2142, at least in Titan mode there's always one safe spawn (up on the Titan aircraft deck), and I hope there's no nerfing.The#1Spot wrote:

people who decide to get the game 3-6 months from now are in for the biggest ass whopping because everyone will at least have 50% of the unlocks of the game. a player with a fully upgraded recon class is going to whoop the living crap out of a new player who has no unlocks or maybe one or 2 unlocks.
2142 has sort of an RPG type feel to it.
personally i would like to play the recon kit if i decide to get the game. i want to see if that grub stabilizer, active cameo and the Zeller H sniper rifle is worth all the pain getting , let alone using.

That´s exactly the reason, why EA will have some "noob" servers running all the time, meant to be for low rank players to give them the chance to unlock some stuff before they are sent out to the "real" game.specialistx2324 wrote:

why have the paddles, ammo, health, c4 as unlocks?
when I first read about the game, they said unlocks out the wazzoo, but its just the same weapons as BF2 now locked. I was hoping for several weapons per kit, different fire arms, maybe variations of explosives, not standard equipment. That IMO kinda turned me off of BF 2142. Ill still play of course, I just let out a slight saddened "aww" when I saw the unlock list for the first time....

And people only need to get about 1500 points to have about total 10 unlocks. So if they have a hard time getting about 1000 points then they really are noobs. Also there would be some medal if you been away for 1-2 days dunno but they said it would help people to get bit more score.
Simply put, it shouldn't take long to unlock a whole tree and the all-kits unlocks.

I like 2142 becasue I think it's fun to play...
917 points gets you 8 unlocks which is everything for one kit!!!!
