Well, My friend is staying over at my house, so he brought his PC round, with it, he brought his RAzer Diamondback (Plasma).

He's way out biking with my brother atm, so I decided to test out his Razer on my PC.

I have an MX518 anyway, but this is something special, before I would've said that the MX518 was the best mouse ever, but now... I don't know, the Diamondback feels really smooth and accurate, whereas the MX518 feels comfy and controlable...

Having both plugged in at the same time, is kinda handy, because I can compare them...

I have yet to try this out in BF2 or CSS, but I think that I'll be getting myself one of these soon, I really like it...

I'll post when I've tried it...

What do 'yall think?

Razer products are expensive but very high in quality. I am completely satisfied with my $100 Razer Copperhead Chaos Green.

gave mine too wifey like my 518 better, more buttons for comma rose and mini map, plus its my area code. i had a ge 4 button that was cool cause there was a button on each side that i set up too lean in sof,prob would still use it if you could do that in bf2 and it had an sens switch like the 518

Well, I really like it, but I prefer the MX518 for gaming... I'll probably get one a wee bit later on to play with, but for now, I'll stick with my MX518.

I've got the Razer Diamondback Plasma but am going to get a Logitech G5 instead.

Reasons are:

1. I don't like the shape of it. The Razer mice are a unique shape and one that is too long in the hand for me. I prefer a more rounded shape.

2. I didn't find the software all that good and ended up reverting back to standard Microsoft mouse drivers.

3. Not a major issue, but often when I boot the PC I have to unplug and replug the mouse to get it to light up. Could be an issue with the PC I know but thought I'd throw it in.

I use the Razer Diamondback Chameloen, got good price on it from www.overclockers.co.uk few months back. Side buttons are easily accessible, but don't accidentally get pressed with my sausage fingers.

Looks kinda sexual too....

i got a diamondback or copperhead, whichever was more expensive, and the lasers just go out randomly. their customer service doesnt help either.

Hmm my friend has one,i find its too sensitive for my liking and find hard to click on the weopen choice button.Plus having a 21" screen makes it hard too.

I have relatively big hands, and it fits quite well for me, the shape of both the MX518 and the Diamondback suit my hand...
I'm thinking of getting one, not to replace my MX518, but to compliment it...

(BTW, I tried them for gaming, and I think the MX518 is better for gaming, while the Diamondback is better for browsing and such... lol, I bet if the guys from the RAZER site heard that, I'd get raped...)
