Game Freezing

Hi,
My game freezes for some reason but not in the normal places. When I'm loading a server i have full usage of my mouse the second i get into a server and have to choose kit i cant move my mouse or keyboard i know the whole thing hasn't froze as i can see the kills in teh background plz help !!!!

I think i use too hav a problem like this, do you have a wireless mouse i think the problem with mine was the battery. Other than that if it continues does this try reinstalling the game.

thanks you all very much but i do not know what my cd key is to reinstall agmes and i cannot finbd the manual it is written on can anyone help where can i find cd key

try to change all in games settings to defauls as this happened to me and my control variabes had nothing in them..............it didnt matter what i did the computer didnt have anything srt for when i pushed any button

Try deleting the "Battlefield 2" folder in Your Documents.

system specs
AMD athlon 64 3400+ cpu
cheap mobo i couldnt afford nothign amazing
1gb ram
radeon 9800 pro agp graphics need to update btu still shoudl run game and they have done for ages
and if i delete the bf2 folder in my documents wont that effect game play

Check if you have any sensitive at all in options, perhaps you have erased it.

Update grafix driver, scan for viruses / spyware might be a good idea. start/run msconfig and take some useless stuff off your startup. alt ctl del b4 u start bf2 and cancel some unneeded processes, If u haven't already. Maybe defrag your HD once in a while. Turn your grafix down a bit. It might be something simple, never know.

No, BF2 will make a brand spanking new version to replace anything you might have fucked up in the cache.
