Ive just started a new account (http://bf2s.com/player/80956972/) just for knife and pistol servers and its the most fun ive had in a long time.

Wanted to see your views on them.

Personally i hate people who cry about them. Its a GAME for god's sake, do what the hell you want! Im not having some indianscout tell me what i can and cant do. I paid my money and im gona have some fun with it.

If you disagree then i made option 4 just for you.

Because so much of this game is built on a global points and stats system, it can be considered unfair to have specific servers in which clients can boost their stats in an unfair manner. So I say no. To me, its just as bad as exploiting, but not quite "hack-terratory". If you want to have a K&P server, by all means make it unranked. Then nobody whines to you.

Ya know, I was thinking of making a post just like this but I see you beat me to it. The knife is the only weapon in the game where one hit anywhere on the body will kill you. So why not dedicate a few servers to see who is the best knife or pistol (for those who suck with a knife)? OMG U IZ BREAKING ZE EULA!!!1! So? I go on to knife/pistol server every now and then to have fun. Hardly anybody gets reset because of 'em. And so what if you do get reset? Make a new account and continue to have fun. I suppose you could say I care about my stats because I play on easy point servers, but they're the most fun. My name is Havok, and I support knife/pistol servers.

but i think if people are going to use them on there accounts dont get all points on there cause that is then unfair

If it was about fun instead of stats, people would play on unranked servers that are out there. But of course, they only play on ranked servers but use the excuse that they only play for fun. lol.. On a side note, I don't care if you play there or not. It doesn't affect my gameplay so knock yourself out.

i'm not sure about recently, but unlocks were not usable in unranked servers. so if you wanted to get the most out of the game, you had to play on ranked whether you like it or not. also, ranked servers always have heaps more players in them then unranked, and so people naturally gravitate towards them rather than unranked servers...
