I think it's aboslutely pointless, just a waste of time and ammo. And if you do manage to shoot it down, the commander can just send up another one in 1 minutes or so.

I do it if I'm in the little bird and we already have all the flags. There's really not much else to do.

I don't, but i once was in the Mig29 and the guy following me in his F35 slammed into his teams UAV, destroving it

I freaking hate the UAVs. If I am flying I kill them every time, or if Im gunning on the Essex and they put one over the carrier Ill take it out. Most of the time I end up killing them on accident, ramming them with a J10. I fly dangerously, and if something is there, Im going to hit it.

Only if I am in the AA on the Essex, and only then to fill in time till the enemy arrives. They tend to arrive just as I have overheated the guns shooting down the UAV :-(

I'll do it if I'm in a helicopter, not in anything else.
I hit the UAV in 2142 while shooting at a helo jet thing and it moved so i hit the uav before i could move it was great. And the uav is bigger in 2142 easier shot and its closer to the groud but still its fun to shoot down.
I do it with the Essex gun on Gator (really fks up the enemies movements inside and gives you an advantage). Sometimes with mobile AA, depending if theres much to shoot at or not Worth doing if the commander starts putting UAV over you, so that jets dont get time to try and hit you from the back.
Yes. I shoot at them if there's nothing better to shoot at. Can only be a good thing to blind the enemy commander and his pixies.

I shoot it a fair bit, but would be nice to get asset destroying point or something, maybe a cookie or a cuddle.
if the round is about to end and its close...knowing where the enemy is at when its around 10 tickets per team can win it or lose it without.
Can't manage to kill it only tried with a pistol. I'm gonna uav hunt later just to see.
