I have been seeing my name pop up as being killed, but I'm not even wounded. Happened three times this weekend. Has anyone else been seeing this?

some use to think a person on the server is hacking because punkbuster or evenbalance made a post showing screenshot's saying its a glitch/bug caused by people useing a hack of some sorts .
personally i havent got a clue just google it

It's actually a glitch/bug from some one hacking. Never happens when some one isn't cheating.

its happening more and more over the last couple of weeks for sure .
happened to me a few times today. i am waaaaaaay too stupid to know how to cheat lol
weird havnt seen this one bfore, i will have to watch the screen more to see if it appears, i do see the red name tag glitch more and more tho, happens like anything on karkland.
With this new glitch/hack with you name being displayed as beening killed by someone, does it add a point to your death count, I mean is someone getting a score from this

No it does not take points or add to your death count at all chap you just get random message's through-out the round with fake deaths coming up when your still alive .whilsky wrote:

One time, I had been killed on sharqi near the TV station.
I noticed that I still had my hud, but I couldn't shoot.
I could keep running around though. I had to disconnect to get out of it.

The worst is when you mini map spins continuously I couldn't stop laughing had to restart BF2.
what do u expect with EA and Dice?
How about you kill someone but you don't get the kill. I hate that crap.
lol, i was runing around with a g36e and whenever i killed someone a message popped up saying I killed them with an ak-101. The kills didn't count towards my score.
Later i starting getting kills while i was afk (eating a poptart) I didn't touch anything on my computer and I saw "You killed playerx"
that didn't count towards my score either though
