Legaly, all ranked servers have to run the latest patch. Therefor, you need the latest patch to play on ranked servers.

The 1.4 is ALL the patches ( Incremtal ) So it has all the changes, it's about 480mb, it shouldnt take too long depending on your connection.
Once you have downloaded/installed the patch, all you do is play ! Have fun

the full patch contains all the stuff that was in previous patches.so you dont need any others.
So I have to install the incremental as well?

no no no. Just install the full 1.4 you downloaded.
You use incremental if you have 1.3 installed for example and you want to update to 1.4 (or from 1.2 to 1.3). They are alot smaller because they include only the newest mistakes. But if you downloaded the full 1.4 patch (530 mb) it includes all the mistakes that were made in all previous patches

It will start to speed up soon.
they did say go on holiday for a week.............. to be honest, anything up to 1/2 an hour in my experiance. excluding randomcrashes. oh, and BTW- be prepared for some pretty bad bogs whne you play. I get random lag mianly, but have had some more serious issues.
